Welcome to my portfolio project showcasing a paginated report created using Power BI Report Builder.. In this project, I delve into the creation and implementation of a paginated report, highlighting its significance in data visualization and analysis. I am focusing on a sales invoice report here.

A paginated report is a structured, pixel-perfect document designed for printing or sharing electronically. Unlike interactive reports, paginated reports are optimized for printing and displaying data in a format that fits neatly on a page. Leveraging Power BI, I have developed a paginated report that offers clear insights and facilitates informed decision-making.

An invoice report is a document that provides a detailed summary of the goods or services provided by a seller to a buyer, along with the associated costs and payment terms. It typically includes information such as the invoice number, date, billing and shipping addresses, itemized list of products or services, quantities, unit prices, total amounts, taxes, discounts, and payment instructions. Invoice reports serve as official records of transactions and are used for billing purposes, accounting, and tracking payments. They are essential for maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating smooth business operations.

 

1.Data Gathering

The initial step involved collecting relevant data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy and integrity.I created a small dataset for this purpose.

 

2.Designing the Report Structure

Using Power BI Report Builder, I designed the layout and structure of the report elements to enhance usability and readability.

 

3.Review and Refinement

Throughout the process, I continuously reviewed and refined the report to ensure its accuracy, relevance, and usability.

 

In conclusion, this portfolio project serves as a testament to the versatility and effectiveness of paginated reports in conveying complex data in a concise and digestible manner.
